Day 11 - Disneyland Paris!

Today the kids said it was the best day, so far.  We went to Disneyland Paris and had a great time.  I must admit I was looking forward to it as well.  Letting the kids run around and dictate the day was refreshing.  Everyone was very happy.  The park is a smaller version than the ones in the states.  There are a few differences like only one parade in the afternoon.  We watched it and the characters appeared more dramatic.  Since we have been here, Gracie has cried for her dress-up clothes each day.  We found exactly what she wanted so hopefully it will do the trick for the rest of the trip.  Gracie said she liked getting her Tinkerbell dress, riding the rides, watching the parade, and seeing all of her favorite Disney characters.  Jackson liked riding Buzz Lightyear Lasar Blast, "it's a small world", Mad Hatter's Tea Cups and Autopia, running through Alice's Curious Labyrinth and eating the candy we bought on the metro.  We thought going to Disneyland was exciting enough.  But it wasn't!  We got to see President Obama.  First we saw his motorcade cross the bridge to the Eiffel Tower right as we were walking by it.  Then all the armed guards(about 25) followed us (actually alongside us) to our apartment to set up posts all along our street.   Around 10 PM, the motorcade came down our street, right below our window.  He had his window down and looked right at us.  He smiled when he saw Gracie in her Tinkerbell dress.
